Contract Terms
The Client agrees to make payment in full in accordance with this agreement. A Retainer Fee of 1/3 is required to secure booking. A further 1/3 is due three months prior to event date and full balance is required 14 days prior to event All Fees paid are forfeited if the booking is cancelled by the client, unless the date is re-booked. A service charge of $25 will be added to all returned checks and a late fee of $50 will be added to all past due accounts.
Mick Scrivener will be the DJ at your event. If something happens that means Mick Scrivener cannot be your DJ, every effort will be made to find a reputable substitute DJ.If a substitute DJ cannot be found, Elite British DJ’s liability will be limited to the refunding of any monies received by the client.
Performance at any contracted job is subject to a 4 hour minimum. Client may reduce hours originally requested as long as they do not go below the 4 hour minimum.
The client will provide Elite British DJ a work area of a minimum of 8′ by 10′ and all outdoor events will have sufficient cover provided. The Client agrees to provide Elite British DJwith a minimum of one 6 foot table on the day of the event.
If there are any guests that use threatening behavior towards the DJ, they have the right to pause the wedding until the situation is dealt with appropriately.
Elite British DJ is not responsible for any accidents/injuries caused by music volume, lighting or any equipment owned by Elite British DJ.
Elite British DJ will make every attempt to play all songs deemed by the client to be ‘must plays’ but cannot guarantee they will all be played.
When setting up the room, Elite British DJ is not responsible for location of speakers if the room set up is such that they need to be set up in a location where there are tables of guests between the speakers and the dance floor.
Access to set up in the reception room is required a minimum of 2 hours prior to the event to guarantee on time set up. If there is less time than this, an additional fee of $100 will be required as an assistant will be required to ensure on time set up.
When renting a Projector Screen and Projector from Elite British DJ, Elite British DJ’s are not responsible for running, or liable for any equipment not supplied by Elite British DJ to run the slide show, for example a laptop or DVD player.. This includes connections between a laptop and projector.
Any applicable parking fees are to be covered by the client and Parking is to be on site.
Elite British DJ’s are fully insured through the Mavon Insurance Co
Elite British DJ’s is a registered corporation and has an established tax ID.
